Welcoming the delegation of Leaders of Can Duoc District and former Leaders of Long An Province to visit and work at Phuoc Dong Industrial Park & Port

Today, June 28, 2022, Phuoc Dong Industrial Park & Port is honored to welcome the Leaders of Can Duoc District and former Leaders of Long An Province to visit and work. Receiving deep attention from local leaders, Phuoc Dong Industrial Park & Port has had a strong transformation, recovering quickly after the pandemic, becoming an economic bright spot in Long An.
Attending the meeting at IPD office, there are: Mr. Nguyen Van Dat - Secretary of Can Duoc District Party Committee, Mr. Pham Thanh Phong - Former Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee and former senior leaders in Long An province. On the side of IMG Phuoc Dong Joint Stock Company: Mr. Ho Van Tri - General Director and staff at the Industrial Park. Within the framework of the meeting: Secretary of the Can Duoc District Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Dat spoke about the expansion of road 826B and related issues in promoting the economic development of seaports.

Phuoc Dong Industrial Park & Port has a total area of 128.8 ha. Main traffic system with 4 lanes, 22m wide, internal traffic system with 2 lanes, 14m wide, sidewalks, trees in the area. At Phuoc Dong Industrial Park, there are: land for rent, ready-built factories, custom-built factories, warehouses. The terrain is suitable for both road and water traffic. By road, Provincial Road 826B passes through the project connecting with National Highway 50 connecting Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta provinces, helping traffic from Ho Chi Minh City to the industrial park less than 1 hour. In terms of waterways, this area has a length of more than 3 km bordering the Vam Co river and a wharf in the future, which is expected to be able to receive ships up to 20,000 DWT. This is a transshipment port to dynamic western economic regions.
