The program was attended by Prof. Dr. Le Quan - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Council, Director of VNU; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Bao Son - Vice President of VNU; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Head of the Investment Promotion Board of VNU, Vice President of VNU Business Club; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Vice President of the University of Economics; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Dr. Tran Kien - Deputy Director of VNU Development Fund and lecturers from VNU.

On the side of the Executive Board of VNU Business Club, there were Mr. Le Tu Minh - Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of IMG Investment Joint Stock Company, Vice President of VNU Business Club; Mr. Nguyen Duy Dung - Chairman of the Advisory Board of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex), Vice President of VNU Business Club; Mr. Nguyen Van Yen, Member of VNPT Board of Members; Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong - General Director of Nam Huong Media and Investment Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyen Phan Huy Khoi - Director of Vietnam Youth Startup Support Center, General Director of Vietnam Interactive Television Joint Stock Company (VTVlive); Mr. Dao Trong Nhan - General Director of Nu Hoang Stone Production - Trading - Service Company, Sao Thuy Media and Entertainment Company.

Although it was the first time the program was held, it attracted the participation of more than 150 VNU alumni from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Can Tho, Dong Nai... The alumni present at the ceremony studied at many different schools, were of different ages and are currently working in different fields, but they all shared the same pride in VNU - the predecessor of Indochina University with the design of the first modern university in Vietnam.

Dr. Le Tu Minh is an outstanding alumni of VNU. In recent years, he has always closely supported VNU in awarding scholarships to excellent students, to outstanding lecturers, and to improving VNU's facilities. He and the leadership and staff of IMG Joint Stock Company - the event sponsor, have devoted much effort to coordinating the organization of today's program to show gratitude to teachers, expand the network of alumni in the Southern region towards practical activities to celebrate the 117th anniversary of the tradition of Indochina University and the 30th anniversary of the Government's promulgation of the VNU Decree, mobilizing the strength of alumni in building and developing VNU in Hoa Lac. Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Pham Bao Son affirmed that the Board of Directors of Hanoi National University as well as member units of Hanoi National University always pay attention to and monitor the process of striving and growing up of generations of alumni and encourage, motivate, recognize and appreciate the achievements that each person has achieved because the success of alumni - both in quality and quantity - is a measure of the success of Hanoi National University. Hanoi National University is always a common home, a place to return to for each alumni of Hanoi National University and each alumni of Hanoi National University can become a nucleus to spread the spirit and pride of Hanoi National University and the former University of General Sciences to promote and continue the good traditions of Hanoi National University through many generations. The Vice President also highly appreciated the successes of the VNU Business Club in being a reliable connection address to help former business students have more opportunities to expand relationships, connect and cooperate, as well as help generations of students, teachers of VNU have more conditions for a learning, teaching and research environment and knowledge transfer. The Vice President hopes that the Club will continue to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, expand connections to enhance the combined strength of the alumni team in the coming time.

The program was organized close to the day of the Liberation of the South, the North and the South reunited. The artists and actors of the Air Defense - Air Force Art Troupe were very skillful in conveying patriotism, national pride, and warm family feelings. The highlight of the program was the song "Mua ha oi xa roi" composed by Dr. Le Tu Minh. The soulful and profound lyrics on the background of precious photos of the beloved University of General Sciences have aroused the love and pride for VNU in the hearts of each alumni.

The success of the program is a good start for the VNU alumni network in the Southern region, with the core being the Southern Business Alumni Club, under the direction and guidance of Vice President Le Tu Minh, to enter a new phase, connecting generations of VNU alumni, with many practical and meaningful activities, towards the 30th anniversary of the Government's promulgation of the Decree on VNU, joining hands, accompanying the Board of Directors, the collective leadership, teachers and generations of students to contribute to the development of VNU, contributing to the realization of the aspiration of the VNU urban area in Hoa Lac, as directed by the Prime Minister during his visit and work with VNU just 2 days ago.
