IMG Signs Cooperation with Huawei: Towards Building World-Class Green and Smart Infrastructure

This business trip of the IMG delegation to Shenzhen is part of its investment promotion plan, seeking high-tech partners to bring to Vietnam. Huawei – a global technology leader in telecommunications, energy, and smart infrastructure – was one of the key highlights of the trip.

Huawei has chosen IMG as its partner in Vietnam to develop a model green industrial park that fully applies renewable energy and smart technologies. This project will serve as a pioneering model, contributing to positioning Vietnam on the map of green and sustainable industrial hubs in the region.

Under the agreement, Huawei will accompany IMG in implementing advanced and sustainable technology solutions, with a particular focus on:

• Smart solar power systems (PV + ESS).

• Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

• Digital management platforms and data analytics to support operations and green compliance reporting.

These solutions will enable IMG/IPD to realize its roadmap toward near-zero carbon facilities, both for existing operations and for future industrial park and urban projects.

On IMG’s side, the company will share information related to infrastructure and site development with Huawei. This information will be used solely to support IMG in building, planning, and developing smart infrastructure, while leveraging Huawei’s international expertise in green infrastructure.

Speaking at the event, a representative of IMG emphasized:

This signing event marks an important milestone in IMG’s development strategy, while also reaffirming the company’s pioneering role in shaping the future of green and smart infrastructure in Vietnam.

Notably, within the framework of the signing ceremony, IMG’s Chairman – Mr. Le Tu Minh – personally presented two special books to Huawei as a gift: “Trở Về” (Return), a poetry collection authored by himself, and “Shenzhen – Miracle Development, Modernization, Internationalization”, a research work to which he contributed as a co-author. These two publications are not only cultural and intellectual gifts but also carry a message of connection, sharing a vision of sustainable development and international integration between IMG and its strategic partners.
